If you want to maintain oral health for a long time, then you ought to be very cautious about the food items you eat. You are required to limit the consumption of those food items or even beverages that contain sugar in huge amounts. Sugar is highly responsible for causing your teeth to decay.

Sweetened Drinks

If you are addicted to the consumption of any of the following, then it is high time that you should limit all of that:

  • Carbonated sodas
  • Sweetened fruit juices
  • Sugary Chai

Are fruit juices harmful to our teeth?

Fruit juices are harmful to our teeth since they contain a great amount of sugar. These kinds of juices are highly rich in sugar compounds.

Milk is also sugary

The pasta sauces which are contained in the bottles do have the same amount of sugar as that is found in the milk and that is only 12 grams.

Oats

There are some kinds of oat preparation techniques that can make the sugar content shoot up extremely high. If you do not want to, then go for choosing the kind of preparation that keeps the sugar content in control.

Biscuits

The biscuits we eat do contain so many preservatives and additional sweeteners. These sweeteners when reacted with the teeth makes them suffer in different ways.

Cakes

Cakes are not called cakes if they are not sweetened. If you are befooled by the bakery owners that they do have the sugar free cake, then do not trust them since no matter whether the cake is sugar free or not, there is always the addition of the sugar that is done in it.
